In 2014, Jinli Gold Lead invested more than 40 million yuan in the treatment of smelter flue gas, built 4 new “calcium-calcium” double-alkali desulphurization towers, and provided all-weather automatic on-line monitoring facilities for flue gas. The desulfurization system can reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by 148.97 tons and 5.903 tons of soot annually. It can reduce the electricity consumption by 1,457,000 tons per year and generate an annual economic benefit of nearly 15 million yuan. The concentration of flue gas after desulphurization is stable to less than 150mg/m3, far below the national 400mg/m3 and Henan Province's 250mg/m3 emission standards; National standards for nitrogen oxides 240mg/m3, gold and gold lead 140mg/m3 Dust national standard 80mg/m3, Jinli gold lead 20mg/m3.
