High-yield cultivation techniques of amaranth

Cultivation of leeks should pay attention to the selection of plots with less weeds. After the previous transpiration, the base fertilizer is applied, and the ploughing is fine. Most of the leek is made by dry seed, that is, the seeds are mixed with fine soil before sowing, and then spread evenly on the noodles, then gently rubbed with the tweezers to mix the seeds with the soil, and then step on the surface. The sowing amount of different sowing dates varies greatly. Spring sowing generally uses 0.75 kg per mu. In August, due to hot weather, easy to drought or thunderstorm, the emergence of seedlings is poor, about 1.5 kg per mu. Seeding in September Because the weather is getting colder, the emergence rate is high, and the amount of 1 kg per mu is appropriate. In the early autumn sowing, in order to avoid the effects of high temperature and drought, the seedlings can be covered with banquets after sowing, and the soil is kept moist. After the emergence, the coverings are removed in the evening.

After sowing to the emergence period, pay attention to small water and dip, keep the kneading surface moist; if conditions permit, sprinkle 1 or 2 times a day. Spring sowing amaranth usually emerges 7 to 15 days after sowing, and 4 to 5 days after emergence in autumn. When the seedlings have 2 true leaves, the appropriate seedlings, and the first top dressing, then watering; after 10 to 15 days, the second top dressing, and watering, the general plot, can be applied per acre of ammonium sulfate 10 ~ 15 kg. When watering, take a small water and slow irrigation to prevent foliar sludge. In case of timely drainage, use the well water to cool down and prevent dead roots. During the growth of amaranth, the seedlings can be harvested in several stages, and the weeds can be removed in time. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to early spraying to control aphids and downy mildew.

When the plant has 10 to 13 true leaves, it can be harvested and marketed. The harvesting requirements of leeks are fine. Generally, the small slanting knives of 2.5 cm width are used for excavation, and attention should be paid to the large and small seedlings and the seedlings should be even. In areas where the seedlings are sparse, even large plants should be kept in mind; even small ones should be harvested. In this way, the remaining amaranth seedlings can be evenly distributed, which is conducive to hair growth and yield increase. Under normal circumstances, spring sowing can be harvested 2 to 3 times, and autumn sowing can be harvested 3 to 4 times. The leeks cultivated in autumn can also be harvested in the middle and late November, and the yellow leaves and diseased leaves are removed for storage. The method is the same as spinach.
