The cylindrical roller linear guide basically does not differentially slide, so the friction coefficient during preloading or load is also very small, especially the good followability in the direction of motion conversion, and the high-speed reactivity to the micro feed, realizing Very high positioning accuracy.

Lubrication is a very important part of the use of linear guides. Like bearings, the quality of lubrication directly affects the service life of the guide rails. In the case of grease lubrication, the customer needs to replenish the grease once every 3 to 6 months, but this will cause the equipment to stop production, which will reduce the production efficiency and increase the labor cost. If oil lubrication is used, It is necessary to design a centralized oil supply device and an oil circuit, which increases the design cost and also causes waste of resources. Through years of technical accumulation, IKO has successfully developed a self-lubricating series of linear guides with built-in lubrication components.
Figure 6 shows the internal structure of this product. With this new technology, maintenance-free effects of 20,000 km or 5 years without lubrication are achieved.
