The person in charge of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security said that the contents of the text messages were similar, some lied about the sudden illness of the candidates, and some lied about the accident of the candidates, urging the parents of the candidates to transfer the money to the designated account. At present, this phenomenon has caused great concern from the police.
The person in charge reminded the parents of the candidates that this was fraudulent information released by some criminals posing as school teachers or hospital doctors. Candidate parents should contact the student or school in time after receiving such text messages to verify the situation and report the case to the local public security organ.
