Statistics show that in 2014, the number of invention patent applications received in China reached 928,000, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%; the number of invention patents granted reached 233,000, an increase of 12.3%. Among them, the status of enterprises as the main body of intellectual property creation is more stable. Technology-based enterprises took the lead in patent application authorization. Huawei and ZTE's invention patents were ranked in the top two, with 2,409 and 2,218, respectively, reflecting the company's innovation strength and technical level.
