The difference between steam traps and control valves

A: The definition of trap:

Steam traps are valves used in steam networks and equipment that can automatically drain condensate, air and other non-condensable gases and block the leakage of water vapor. According to the working principle of steam traps, steam traps can be categorized into the following three types: Mechanical type: Rely on changes in the height of the condensate in the steam trap. 1. Steam traps installed in steam heating equipment and condensation Between water return headers. When driving, the bucket is at the bottom and the valve is fully open. Condensate enters the trap and flows to the bottom of the bucket. It fills the body and immerses the bucket. The condensate then drains through the fully open valve to the return header. 2. Steam also enters the trap from the bottom of the barrel and occupies the top of the barrel, creating buoyancy. The barrel slowly rises and gradually moves the lever toward the seat until it closes the valve completely. Air and carbon dioxide gas collect through the exhaust vents of the bucket and collect at the top of the trap. The steam discharged from the vent hole will condense due to the heat dissipation of the trap. 3. When the incoming condensate begins to fill the barrel, the barrel begins to exert a pull on the lever. As the condensate level continues to rise, the force generated increases until the pressure difference is overcome and the valve opens. 4. When the valve starts to open, the differential pressure acting on the valve disc will decrease. The barrel will drop quickly, leaving the valve fully open. The non-condensable gas accumulating on the top of the trap discharges first and then the condensate drains. When water flows out of the barrel, it drives the dirt out of the trap together. At the same time as the condensate drains, the steam starts to enter the trap again, and a new cycle begins again.

Two: control valve:

The control valve is a self-lubricating valve body that uses water and does not need to be lubricated. If the parts in the main valve are damaged, follow the instructions below to disassemble it. (Note: The inner valve generally consumes damage to the diaphragm and â—‹ ring, and other internal parts are less damaged.) 1. Close the main valve front and rear valve first. 2. Loosen the pipe fitting screw on the main valve cover to release the pressure in the valve. 3. Remove all screws, including nuts for the necessary copper tubes in the control line. 4. Take the valve cover and spring. 5. Remove the shaft, diaphragm, piston, etc., and do not damage the diaphragm. 6. After removing the above items, check whether the diaphragm and the O ring are damaged. If there is no damage, please do not compete for internal parts. 7. If it is found that the diaphragm or O-ring is damaged, loosen the nuts on the shaft core, dismantle the diaphragm or ring by the Zhejiang, and replace it with a new diaphragm or O-ring. 8. Check in detail whether the internal valve seat, shaft core, etc. of the main valve are damaged, if any other debris is cleared inside the main valve. 9. Install the main valve in the reverse order and replace the assembled parts. Note that the valve cannot be stuck. 10. Please refer to the installation operation precautions to reuse.

The difference between the two is obvious. One is the output and the other is the input.

Dosing Pump

Dosing Pump Characteristic :

1 Clean and pollution-free: fluid only passes through and touches the Peristaltic Pump hose.

2. High precision: constant current, reproducibility of up to 0.5%, and flow can be precisely adjusted.
3. Low shear force: It is an ideal tool for conveying shear-sensitive and corrosive fluids.
4. Corrosion resistance: it can transport various fluids, such as organic solvents and corrosive liquids.
5. Idling and dry operation: air or gas-liquid-solid three-phase mixed transportation can also be transported.
6. Possess self-priming ability: self-priming, no need to fill the pump, no need to empty.
7. It has the function of a shut-off valve, does not siphon, has no seals, and has the functions of a shut-off valve and a check valve.
8. Two-way conveying function: reverse pumping and back-suction functions can be realized by changing the direction of the pump runner.
9. Simple maintenance: only need to replace the peristaltic pump hose, no valve and seal replacement.
