Iridium amide in roots to control cucumber aphids in greenhouse
Aphids are the main pests on greenhouse cucumbers. Conventional spray control methods often increase the humidity in the shed, which may induce or aggravate the occurrence of diseases. Nitenpyram aphids have high control effect, while having a strong systemic action. In this regard, we used 50% nitenpyram soluble granules for root irrigation test to study its control effect on cucumber aphids in greenhouse.
The test consisted of 10 treatments, 50% of nitenpyram soluble granules were 0.1 g, 0.12 g, 0.14 g, 0.16 g, 0.18 g, 0.2 g, 0.22 g, 0.24 g, 0.26 g, 0.28, respectively. G, are formulated into 2000 times liquid root treatment. The amount of insects was investigated 1 day, 3 days, and 10 days after the drug, and the rate of decrease in the population was calculated.
The test data showed that 50% nitenpyram soluble granules had better control effect on cucumber aphids in the greenhouse under the application rate of 0.1~0.28 grams per plant, and the insect mitigation rate was 1 day after the drug. More than 52%, with the gradual increase of prevention and control over time, the rate of reduction of insects in the 10 days after the drug exceeded 96%, significantly higher than the rate of reduction of insects 3 days after the drug. Further analysis found that there was no significant difference in the rate of reduction of insects between treatments with a dose higher than 0.18 g per day after the drug. In actual use, the dosage of 50% nitenpyram soluble granules should be controlled to less than 0.18 grams per plant.
The experiment also found that the roots of nitenpyram had a good effect on the aphids. The population density of some aphids on some plants was still low after 20 days of treatment, while the coal pollution without treatment was serious. Safety surveys showed that 50% nitenpyram soluble granules were safe for cucumber plants within the above test dose range.
The results showed that the 50% nitenpyram soluble granules had better control effect on cucumber aphids in the greenhouse. Compared with the spray, the root irrigation can effectively control the humidity in the greenhouse and reduce the risk of disease occurrence. The irrigation method can be combined with field irrigation, and the conditional place can be administered through the sub-membrane irrigation system to further control the humidity in the shed. It should be noted that the rooting method applies the liquid medicine to the soil, and is absorbed by the root system of the crop and then transferred to the action site. Therefore, the soil is required to have a certain water retention property. Sandy soil has poor water retention and is generally not suitable for root irrigation. When this method is used, it should be administered in small amounts to reduce drug loss.
