First, the early weaning method of piglets.
In China, the sows are mostly breast-feeding for about 2 months, and one sow has a maximum of 2 births per year, which is longer and less efficient. One sow consumes 500 kilograms of feed per year, so the fewer piglets per year, the higher the cost. Early weaning of piglets is an effective measure to improve the fecundity of sows.
1. Suitable for weaning age: The age of weaning can be determined according to the production task and technical level. Physiologically, sows are weaned and bred earlier than 3-4 weeks after delivery, and do not cause reproductive failure in the subsequent sows. When the piglets are weaned, the body weight is not less than 4.5-5 kg, and the growth and development are normal. At this time, there is a certain ability to adapt to the environment and resist diseases, and artificial cultivation will not be very difficult.
2, weaning method: can take a one-time sudden weaning, the sow suddenly drove away, the piglet stayed in the original house. The sow stops feeding (feeding water) on the day of weaning and then restores the amount and ingredients of the empty period. Piglets should start to attract food at around 7 days of age, and set up a small sink. After weaning, they will adapt to the feed quickly. The feed can be fed dry or wet.
3. Note: The feed of piglets should meet the needs of growth and development. Generally, the feed of piglets should be supplemented with protein feed such as soybeans, bean cakes and fish meal, so that the crude protein level of the feed is above 22%. Appropriate amount of feed yeast can be added, and there is a sweet substance to improve palatability. Soy beans must be fried and fed to avoid diarrhea.
Manually nurtured piglets must be managed. Unsuitable temperature, humidity, poor sanitation, inadequate diet, and irregular feeding can all lead to early weaning failure.
Second, a new method of pigs.
When the newly purchased pigs are combined with the original pigs, or the pigs between the bars are adjusted and combined, they have to be adapted to the new environment after a long period of bite, during which the growth rate is greatly reduced and the pigs are quiet. There are a lot of methods in the land column, but the effect is not good. Here is an effective method: firstly, the original pigs are driven out of the bar, and the pigs in the original pigs of the new pigs are sprayed with wine. Spray it again, then put the new pig in the bar, and then return the original pig to the bar. The mutual identification of pigs is mainly based on the smell. Since the wine is full of alcohol and smells at the same time, the original pig can not recognize the new pig. At the same time, let the new pigs advanced the column, the original column pigs into the bar, will make the original column pigs lose their habit of bullying, this method can largely avoid the phenomenon of biting and uncooperative.
Third, the piglet is removed from the ground cage. Raising piglets from the ground cage is an advanced pig raising technology in foreign countries, with many advantages :
(1) The temperature and humidity can be adjusted by heating and ventilation, so that the winter and summer cool in the cage can be beneficial to the growth and development of the piglets.
(2) A good feed remuneration can be obtained, and automatic drinking fountains and automatic food boxes are used to allow piglets to eat freely. Urine feces leak to the ground so that it does not contaminate or contaminate the feed to keep the cage and feed clean.
(3) Easy to observe and manage.
(4) Conducive to the prevention and treatment of diseases.
(5) It can improve the utilization rate of the bar and save labor. Each piglet with an area of ​​5 square meters can raise 8-10 piglets and 1 breeder can manage 400-500 piglets.
Design of pig cages from the ground cage: The effective area of ​​each pig house is 60 square meters, and two rows of cages are installed, three in each row. Each piglet cage has an area of ​​5.2 square meters, with one 250-watt infrared heat preservation bulb and two duck-mouth water fountains.
