This year's public safety budget is 9% higher than last year

In the 2013 public safety budget, the armed police budget was 100.643 billion yuan, an increase of 9.296 billion yuan over the 2012 implementation, an increase of 10.2%. At the same time, the number of public security budgets was 14.355 billion yuan, an increase of 1.039 billion yuan over the 2012 implementation, an increase of 7.8%. Mainly the increase in expenses such as railway public security funds.

The prosecution budget was 354 million yuan, an increase of 37 million yuan over the 2012 implementation figure, an increase of 11.7 percent. The increase was mainly due to the increase in expenditures such as grants and subsidies for assisting in the handling of investigations and cooperation.

The number of court budgets was 513 million yuan, a decrease of 0.16 billion yuan from the 2012 implementation figure, a decrease of 3%. The main reason is that the expenditure on capital construction has been reduced; the number of judicial budgets was 201 million yuan, a decrease of 26 million yuan from the 2012 implementation figure, a decrease of 11.5%. It is mainly a reduction of capital expenditure.

In addition, the number of private-sector police officers is estimated at 2.191 billion yuan, an increase of 473 million yuan over the 2012 implementation, an increase of 27.5%. Mainly due to the increase in expenses such as customs self-employment fees.

The budget for other public safety expenditures was 1.09 billion yuan, an increase of 978 million yuan over the 2012 implementation figure.
