Murata has introduced 818 types of automotive laminated ceramic capacitors

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. announced that it has introduced 818 models of "GRT Series" laminated ceramic capacitors for car infotainment and comfort devices such as car navigation systems and audio equipment. Murata's capacitors are mainly used for three purposes: (1) general purpose applications, (2) automotive transmission systems and safety applications, and (3) implanted medical device applications.
"GRT Series" is a vehicle-grade product that meets the "AEC-Q200" standard for on-board electronic components. Compared with the general-purpose "GRM series", test conditions such as test temperature, test time, and temperature cycle are all different. Among them, there are 299 kinds of temperature compensating type in which the change in electrostatic capacitance with temperature changes is small, and 519 kinds of high permittivity type with large electrostatic capacity are provided.
The electrostatic capacity is 0.50p to 100μF, and the DC rated voltage is 4 to 100V. The external dimensions are 0.6mm x 0.3mm x 0.3mm (0603 size) - 3.2mm x 2.5mm x 2.0mm or 2.5mm (3225 size).
