On August 1st, the auditing, land, forestry, transportation, environmental protection, water conservancy and other departments of Hunchun County of Huanggang City formed a joint investigation team to conduct a survey of nine stone mining enterprises in the county. According to the “timetable” for the renovation of the Wulinchun stone industry, these enterprises have taken the initiative to stop production in the “deadline” (July 31). Nine companies have not yet expired mine mining licenses, and whether they can resume production, Hunchun hopes that this survey will find a solution that both parties are satisfied with.

It is understood that Hunchun County has closed the gravel mines that did not meet the retention principle last year in accordance with the principle of “strictly rectification, comprehensive law enforcement, overall shutdown, and ensuring compliance”; stone mines that have expired licenses and do not meet the requirements of remediation principles The stone processing factory; the mines and stone processing plants that have not yet expired in the licenses are comprehensively rectified according to relevant laws and regulations; in 2013, the stone mines and stone processing plants for finishing will be completely shut down.

At present, in order to promote the intensive use of stone resources, Huanggang City plans to build stone processing areas such as Macheng Baiguo, Nanhu Lake, Hunchun Zhulin and Luotian Bailian, and freeze the approval procedures for new construction and expansion of all stone processing enterprises outside the concentration area. There are 20 stone waste comprehensive utilization processing plants in the concentration area to recycle and recycle the residual materials and stone waste residue processing. Since last year, the local land department has stopped accepting applications for stone mining. The newly approved stone mining rights need to be approved by the municipal government; scenic spots, important water sources, forest parks, national geological parks, basic farmland protection areas, nature reserves, etc. The key areas are classified as “forbidden zones” for the mining and processing of stone mines, and stone enterprises are closed down.
