Ecological Wood - Floor Installation

As there are many varieties of plastic wood products, they can be selected according to the customer's wishes. When constructing wood-plastic products, woodworking machinery can be used for cutting, sawing, and drilling.

First, cutting and drilling

1. It is recommended to use alloy saw blades and drill bits

2, the use of plastic wood profiles is very convenient to use, do not have to look like wood grain direction or nodes.

3. When drilling large or deep holes, it is necessary to exit the drill bit regularly to bring out debris, and do not expect one-time drilling.

Second, storage and transportation

1. Compared with wood, wood-wood profiles have a large specific gravity and are not as tough as wood, and should be used with care.

2. When storing on the construction site, be sure to place it on a flat surface.

3. When stacking profiles, they should be lifted from both ends of the joist. The center distance between two adjacent joists is not more than 60 cm. The joists should be arranged perpendicular to the profiles.

4, plastic wood materials in the outdoor stacking should be packed, flat stacked, to prevent sun exposure deformation.

5, because the friction coefficient of plastic wood is not high hardwood floor, so the transport can not be checked on the plastic board to damage the floor surface.

Third, install

1. Tools: chainsaws (desktop, portable), impact drills, hand drills, windbreakers, etc.

2, the main parts of the floor: such as the floor 140 * 23, keel 40 * 25, buckles, edge banding

3, pre-preparation: Before installation must ensure that the ground is flat and clean, solid foundation. If it is a mud surface, a solid foundation such as a ground pile is required to be used for the fixation of the keel; if it is a concrete surface, the thickness of the ground must be ≥ 6cm to avoid bursting, sagging, or incapability of expansion when the keel positioning hole is drilled. Tube (wood bulge) force and so on. (It is recommended that the horizontal deviation should not exceed 5mm.) The screws used in the installation must be galvanized or stainless steel to ensure that they will not rust.

4, the installation of keel

(1) Fixation of keel: Use percussive drill or electric hammer to make holes (about 10-12*60mm) on a flat concrete floor, one for every 40cm (40cm for less than 40cm), and then insert pine cork into the hole. Holes are made in the wood-plastic keel, and the hole diameter is equal to the number of steel nails used. The distance between the hole and the face is equal. Then use a 4*60 steel spike to insert the cork through the keel to secure the keel.

(2) The spacing of the keel: the net spacing between plastic keel is not more than 330mm, less than 330mm and 330mm; the installation of keel should be kept at a level, the keel is fixed, and the keel is fixed on both sides of the keel after being fixed in a ladder shape, and between the keel Fill it with pebbles and keep it level with the surface of the keel to ensure that the entire slab is not flat and concave after installation.

5, plastic wood floor installation

(1) Installation of the floor: When the first board is installed, the outward side is nailed with a flat stainless steel self tapping screw 4x45 at 55 degrees, and the rest can be connected and fixed with floor fasteners; the fixing method is:

First, the side of the floor fastener (face up, the hole is perpendicular to the ground is a positive direction) is snapped into the slot of the first floor, and then the side of the second floor is pressed against the first row of floor buckles, The other side of the second floor will then snap into the second row of floor fasteners (the number of floor fasteners is the same as the number of keels), and then the third floor will be snapped in. In order, about 4-8 blocks will be installed. Secure the floor to the keel through the floor fasteners with tapping screws and install the floor in this order. The last piece of the final installation is the same as the first one, and the outward side is fixed with a 55-degree inclined nail with a self-tapping screw.

(2) Precautions

1 Before the screws are fixed, pre-drill holes should be made on the plastic keel (cannot be screwed directly on the keel). The diameter of the pre-drilled holes is 2/3 of the screw diameter.

2 When the floor length is 0.5m-1.5m, drill holes at the bottom of both ends of the plate, and the hole diameter is 5mm. When the length is more than 1.5m, the middle bottom part needs to be punched except for both ends. If the two ends are not sealed and the length of the plate is longer than 1.5m, the hole can be drilled at the bottom of the middle of the plate. If the length is less than 1.5m, the punching may not be considered.

3 When the length of the local plate is less than 1.5m, the distance between the two floor sides is 7mm-8mm; it is advisable that the joint between the two plates is 8mm (prefabricated standard pieces of joints may be left). When the length of the floor is more than 1.5m<2.5m, the time is not more than 12mm (pre-fabricated standard clips can be used).

4 roof construction, should ensure that the fixed screw can not damage the waterproof layer;

5 The cement floor should have a certain slope to facilitate drainage; if the arrangement direction of the keel is perpendicular to the direction of the water flow, a certain gap should be left at the interface when the keel is paved, and the gaps should be dislocated in order to facilitate drainage.

6 The length of the keel extended from the end of the floor is recommended to be ≤ 50mm.

(3) Edge sealing: The general installation method of the floor and keel ends. The edge sealing plate can only be fixed to one of the keel or the floor. It cannot be fixed at two positions at the same time.
