East China Polytechnic and Sinopec Sign Coal Gasification Technology Cooperation Agreement

On the afternoon of August 10, Xie Zaiku, Director of China Petrochemical Technology Development Department and Yu Jianguo, Vice President of East China University of Science and Technology, signed the cooperation agreement of "single nozzle cold-wall pulverized coal pressurized gasification technology" in Beijing, and proposed to jointly build " "Sinopec-East China University of Technology Gasification Technology Research Center" promotes the research and development of China's independent intellectual property coal gasification technology. Vice President Dai Houliang of Sinopec and Vice President Lei Dianwu, and leaders of East China University of Science and Technology Shen Weiguo witnessed the signing of the two parties.

Vice President Dai Houliang expressed his congratulations on the cooperation between the two parties and expressed his earnest expectation for the use of coal gasification technology by East China University of Science and Technology in various enterprises of Sinopec. Vice President Shen Weiguo and Vice President Yu Jianguo reviewed the long history of cooperation between East China University of Science and Technology and Sinopec. He thanked Sinopec for its long-term strong support to East China University of Science and Technology and expressed confidence in Sinopec's successful cooperation with industry, universities and research institutes.

Coal chemical industry is one of the important measures for Sinopec’s long-term strategic development in the future. Relying on the superior position of the Key Laboratory of Coal Gasification Ministry of Education of East China University of Science and Technology in coal gasification technology research and development, the cooperation of the two parties not only provides strong technical support for the development of Sinopec’s coal chemical industry. At the same time, it also provides more coal gasification technology options for the development of China's coal chemical industry.
