The pipe end weld automatic grinding robot realizes the automatic detection and grinding of the inner and outer welds through the organic combination of the weld profile laser detection technology, the grinding motion trajectory planning and the pipe end weld grinding expert control model. The inner and outer weld seams are unmanned, and the first set of special weld automatic grinding equipment for the domestic straight seam submerged arc welded pipe production line can replace the original internal and external welds of 2 stations and 3 people in each class. Three shifts can reduce the employment of 9 people, and the effect of reducing staff and increasing efficiency is obvious.
Compared with the traditional grinding method, the weld profile after grinding is smooth, the surface is smooth, the transition is smooth, the quality is reliable and stable; the service life of the abrasive belt is long, the consumption is less than one third of the original, and the post can be saved. The belt is about 1500, which can effectively reduce the working auxiliary time. At the same time, it can monitor the tube end weld appearance (remaining height, width, mouth, bell mouth, etc.) to provide reference for other process optimization process; the cost is less than that of the German MEER company. One-third of the grinding equipment is reliable, advanced in technology and has broad market application prospects.
In the process of development and commissioning, the technicians of Bohai Equipment Steel Tube Design and Research Institute have been exhausted and bold, innovative, close to the scene for R&D, excellence and continuous improvement, and overcome one technical problem after another. In order not to affect the production guarantee task, the relevant technical personnel make full use of the production interval, take the initiative to give up the Qingming holiday, work until late at night, and ensure that the whole set of equipment is put into production on the first day after the holiday.
