Wen Qiwu, director of the Department of Industrial Statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics, published an article on November 13th that the national industrial capacity utilization rate in the third quarter of this year was 76.8%, which was the same as that in the second quarter and 3.6 percentage points higher than the same period last year. In the first three quarters, the industrial capacity utilization rate was 76.6%, up 3.5 percentage points year-on-year, the highest level in the past five years. The analysis pointed out that the effect of de-capacity has become more prominent this year, which is an important reason for promoting the increase in industrial capacity utilization.

Among the 41 major industries surveyed, 30 industries had capacity utilization rates of more than 75% in the third quarter, and 39 industries rebounded year-on-year, with nearly half of the industry rebounding from the previous quarter.

Among them, the steel industry benefited from the country's production capacity, especially in the first half of this year, the “strip steel” was completely banned, the market order was further standardized, and the enthusiasm of the compliant enterprises increased. In the third quarter, the utilization rate of ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry was 76.7%, up 4.4 and 1.0 percentage points year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter respectively, continuing the six-quarter recovery trend, the highest level since 2013.

The utilization rate of coal mining and washing industry was 69.0%, up 10.6 percentage points year-on-year and 1.3 percentage points higher than the previous month. It continued the five-quarter recovery trend, the highest level since 2015. However, due to factors such as the closure or suspension of production of some environmentally safe non-standard enterprises, and the delay in the release of advanced production capacity, there is still room for improvement in the utilization level of coal mining and washing industry.

In the third quarter, the capacity utilization rate of the equipment manufacturing industry was 79.1%, an increase of 3.9 percentage points year-on-year, and the ratio was basically the same. Among them, the automobile manufacturing industry was driven by the demand for SUV passenger cars and trucks, and the capacity utilization rate remained at a high point of more than 80% for three consecutive quarters, an increase of 3.7 percentage points over the same period of last year. The electronic communication and instrumentation industries have risen steadily, and the capacity utilization rate has reached 80.4% or more, which is 2.0-5.2 percentage points higher than the same period of last year. The capacity utilization rate of the general equipment and special equipment industry in the third quarter was 76.5% and 75.0%, respectively, up 5.7 and 3.8 percentage points over the same period last year.

In the third quarter, the capacity utilization rate of the consumer goods industry was 77.4%, up 3.4 percentage points year-on-year, which was flat. Among them, the capacity utilization rate of agricultural and sideline food processing, food manufacturing, wine and beverage refined tea and other industries was between 75% and 76%, respectively, up from the previous year; textile, textile and garment, chemical fiber, furniture, paper and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries have been this year. The utilization level of production capacity has been relatively high, and the capacity utilization rate in the third quarter is above 78%.

Tapping Screw

Although there are many types of tapping screws, they all have the following similarities:
(1) are generally made of carbonized carbon steel (accounting for 99% of total production). It can also be made of stainless steel or non-ferrous metals.
(2) The product must be heat treated. Carbon steel tapping screws must be carbonized and stainless steel tapping screws must be solution hardened. In order to make tapping screws to meet the requirements of the standard of mechanical properties and performance.
(3) The product surface hardness is high, the core toughness is good. That is, "soft inside strong outside". This is a major feature of tapping Screw performance requirements. If the surface hardness is low, it can not be screwed into the matrix; If the core toughness is poor, a twist will break, can not be used. So "inside soft outside steel" is self-tapping screw to meet the use of performance, very important requirements.
(4) The surface of the product needs surface protection treatment, generally electroplating treatment. Some product surface must be treated by phosphate (photostatting), such as wall panel self - tapping screws for photostatting.
(5) Production by cold heading process. It is recommended to use high-speed cold heading machine and high-speed wire rolling machine or high-speed planetary wire rolling machine. High speed is emphasized here to ensure product quality. Only the head of tapping screw produced by high-speed machine is well formed and the thread quality is high.
