Brief introduction of aluminum alloy door and window glass installation technology

1. Construction preparation

(1) Materials: glass, glass blocks and sealing materials.

Glass: The glass used for aluminum alloy doors and windows has ordinary flat glass, preferably flat glass produced by the float process. There are also tempered glass, pointed glass, heat reflective glass, and the like.

Auxiliary materials: filler materials, glass blocks, sealing materials.

Filling material: It is a backing material used for caulking. It is a kind of polymer foaming object, and its shape is generally round, semi-circular, elliptical and triangular. The specifications are three kinds of polyethylene foams of lOmm, 30mm and 50mm. The elongation is 50% and the tensile strength is between 0.359 and 0.517 MPa.

Glass blocks: mainly neoprene blocks, lead strips and polyethylene nylon. It has two functions: the first is to play a gap between the glass and the aluminum alloy notch and the metal parts at the bottom of the groove to ensure the relative size of the control glass and the metal frame; the second is to prevent the glass from colliding with the metal parts due to the expansion and contraction. The role.

Sealing material: According to its material, it can be divided into structural sealant, building sealant (weathering adhesive) and insulating glass two-way sealant. Structural sealants can be divided into one-component and two-component. One-component sealant is divided into a variety of acid sealants and neutral sealants. According to the method of installing the fixed glass, the sealing material is divided into two types: a dry material and a wet material. It can be used internally or externally for dry materials, or it can be used internally or externally for wetness, or it can be used in combination; that is, when the outside is installed with glass, the dry material is made dry, or when the glass is installed inside, the dry internal wet material is used. The dry material is divided into several types according to the form of the aluminum alloy notch, and the degree of hardness is also different.

The classification properties and usage precautions of several sealants according to their different materials are as follows:

The structural sealant is generally a silicone sealant. Its main component is silica, which is a cement that fixes the glass and makes it reliably connected to the aluminum frame. The glue has a thermal stress, wind load climate change or earthquake action. Have the corresponding resistance. This glue is suitable for structural glass and large-area glass doors and windows. The structural sealant is available in one-component and two-component sealants. The one-component sealant has an acid-based acid sealant and an ethanol-based neutral sealant. Neutral glue must be used for coated glass, acid glue should not be used; neutral glass should also be used for insulating glass. The type and performance of one-component sealants. The two-component sealant is a kind of sealant which is used in two kinds of packaging containers, and is mixed and stirred in a certain proportion before use. The ratio of the base rubber to the curing agent is proportional to the curing time, and the higher the ratio, the greater the curing time. The two different components of the glue have their own strengths, but it is more suitable for the aluminum alloy window glass installation or the one-component sealant at the construction site.

(2) The machine has a glass suction cup, a glue gun, a hoe, a screwdriver, an electric drill, a grinding machine, a nailing machine, a wire hammer, a leveling device, and various measuring feet. There is also a plug striper for inserting a gasket strip, a crimping roller for inserting a strip gasket, and the like. These machines have some

(3) Construction conditions. The door and window frame fan has been installed and flexible through the debugging switch. The gap between the frame and the wall has been embedded and has a certain strength. The intermediate inspection and acceptance procedures have been completed. The notch of the door and window glass has been cleaned, there is no dust and dirt, and the glass is installed. The drain hole of the glass window of the door and window is unobstructed and clean. The glass has been cut to the required size or has been processed and shipped to the site, and placed in accordance with the specified location and stacking form. Other relevant auxiliary materials have also been shipped to the site.

The surface of the glass is free of moisture, dust, grease, oil or other harmful substances and is scrubbed to the net.

Scaffolding or basket facilities are available and have been approved by security personnel for use.

Glass installations have been chosen for glass installation weather conditions or environments.

2. Aluminum alloy door and window glass installation method:

There are two types of outer mounting method and inner mounting method.

(1) The outside installation method is that the operator stands on the scaffold or the hanging basket to install the glass of the aluminum alloy glass window. Firstly, the sealing strip is fixed on the inner side, and after the glass is positioned, the outer side is fixed, and a sealing glue is injected into the cavity to fix the joint. This is a practice of mixing dry and wet materials.

(2) The inside installation method is the opposite of the outside installation method, that is, the operator installs the glass of the aluminum alloy door and window on the indoor floor or indoor high stool. Firstly fix the sealing strip in the outer notch of the window, fix the glass, fix the inner side and fix the inner side and inject the sealant into the cavity of the notch. This is also the practice of mixing the wet and dry materials. .

The above two methods can also use only a single material, that is, a dry material or a wet material. If wet materials are used, fix one side first, and then glue the other side to the side. Whether using the inside mounting method or the outside mounting method, it is preferable to use a wet material on both sides. Silicone sealants are preferred for use in watertight and airtight applications and for extended gels. For the general simple aluminum alloy doors and windows, a single layer of glass is used, and the dry material is used both inside and outside when fixing the glass. For high-grade aluminum alloy doors and windows, sandwich or insulating glass is generally used, and glass raw materials are also processed by heat-absorbing glass or colored glass. The method of fixing glass is to use all-wet materials or mixed materials.
