Arrangement of bolts during steel frame operation

Process Construction Operation Key Points The construction ground anchor bolts for construction preparation foot bolts shall be processed and customized according to the design requirements, and must have corresponding material certification and inspection reports.

Design and processing of shaped molds (1) According to the relative position of the embedded anchor bolts and the concrete foundation axis, and considering the assembly requirements of the mold, determine the plane size of the mold steel plate, engrave the vertical and horizontal axis cross lines of the mold steel plate, and then press the mold axis Determine the relative position of the embedded bolts and drill holes. The drilling position and the hole diameter of the mold should be completely consistent with the bolt hole position and the hole diameter of the steel structure column, and the thickness of the steel plate should be Y4mm.

(2) After the mold steel plate is processed, it can be assembled on site. The car rod adopts a short scaffolding rod with a length of 2.0m. The vertical rib adopts 518mm rebar or 520mm steel pipe. The height of the vertical rib should be 510cm higher than the embedded bolt to facilitate the use of steel. Ruler proofs the axis.

(3) If the top of the concrete foundation is short cylindrical, it is conceivable to dig holes in the center of the steel plate to facilitate concrete pouring.

The construction sequence is based on the plane arrangement of the steel structural columns, starting from the corner column or the side column, and fixing the embedded bolts along the longitudinal axis. If it is a multi-span steel structure, it should be constructed with water flowing along the longitudinal axis on both sides of the longitudinal axis to reduce measurement and construction errors and improve overall installation accuracy.

The independent structure of the steel structure of the independent support system has a large design dimension with a maximum width of 3.8 m. The upper part is often designed as a quadrangular prism. The height of the support is much lower than the pre-buried height of the anchor bolts, and the steel mold or wood. The molds have a certain flexibility, which does not meet the accuracy requirements of the embedded bolts. Therefore, the project uses a separate system. The main points of installation of the bracket are as follows: (1) Pull the line along the longitudinal axis about 0.75m on both sides of the base axis (should be secured outside the ground beam), and set the pole between the two sides of the foundation cap cushion and the foundation cap along the pull line. The spacing is 2.02.5m.

(2) The pole should be driven into the foundation soil by 3050cm (depending on the softness and hardness of the soil), and the height should be higher than the longitudinal horizontal rod by about 20mm. The vertical horizontal rod must be set horizontally, and the height should ensure that the embedded bolt top meets the design height and stays. There is room for moving up and down.

Installation and adjustment of embedded bolts (1) Insert the pre-embedded bolts from the drilled steel plate, and reserve the length of the exposed thread according to the design requirements, and fix it with two nuts; use the water level gauge to check the top level of the bolt and fine-tune the upper and lower nuts. To meet the elevation requirements, tighten the nut (not to be screwed).

(2) Use the level ruler to check the verticality of the screw façade in the two directions. You can slightly adjust the screw to adjust until the verticality in both directions reaches the requirement, and tighten the nut thoroughly.

Application effect The bolt pre-embedding technology introduced in the previous section adopts the steel pipe scaffolding rod as the independent support system and the fixed mold. It has high rigidity, strong stability and easy operation. It can reduce the repeated measurement and repeated adjustment during the construction process, and the pre-buried qualification rate can reach 100%, with high work efficiency and low labor intensity, can significantly speed up the progress of the project and ensure the construction period.

IPE Hardwood Flooring

Brazilian walnut, also known as Ipe, is a tropical hardwood grown primarily in Brazil but is also harvested in Bolivia, Venezuela, Guatemala, and Peru. Typically found in rainforests, the trees can grow to heights of 120 feet to 160 feet. The diameter of the tree ranges between three and six feet. Ipe is a popular choice for hardwood flooring because of its extreme durability and unique grain.

Botanical Name: Tabebuia serratifolia

Color: ranges in color from a light tan with greenish tinges to a brownish black.

Grain: The grain on the Brazilian walnut can be either fine and straight or very irregular.

Variations within Species and Grades: There is a large variation in color found in the Brazilian walnut,
however most pieces used for flooring tend to be of the darker variety.

Hardness/Janka: The Janka scale rating for Brazilian black walnut is 3,680.

Dimensional Stability: Brazilian black walnut has an average stability rating of 8.0.

Sawing/Machining: This lumber is very difficult to saw, especially if using hand tools.

Sanding: Sanding is very difficult and care must be given to minimize scratches and sanding marks.

Nailing: Because of the hardness of the lumber, Brazilian walnut can be very difficult to nail.

Finishing: Care should be given when finishing Brazilian walnut flooring.

Availability: Brazilian walnut is moderately available with some regional limitations
