The hook experience data is that the root is 1 mm thick and the tip is 0.8 mm thick. Hooks used in some keyholes or very small locks may need to be thinner than this size. The hooks on the tip of the mountain are easier to push into the keyhole. There are also hooks of other shapes, such as garden heads and long or multi- toothed ones.
