The key to solving mycotoxins - not a fungicide
The problem of mycotoxins is getting more and more attention, and its harm is becoming more and more clear to the industry. There are many ways to solve mycotoxins, but you can't take a headache and have a comprehensive understanding of mycotoxins.
The first step is to understand the various stages of the production of mycotoxins: the mycotoxins in the feed are mostly from corn, soybean meal, bran and other cereals or by-products of cereals. Maize is the focus of it. The stage of producing mycotoxins can be divided into three stages: field, storage and feed, and there are many factors that cause mold, so it is impossible to analyze them one by one.
But there is a problem that everyone may ignore. It is the core point of solving mycotoxins. "Mycotoxin has been around for a long time. Why has the harm increased in recent years?"
Moldy in the field, we are almost powerless; the feed phase is controllable; the problem is in the storage phase. Mycotoxins appear on Earth earlier than humans and most farmed animals. Why is the risk of mycotoxins increasing in recent years? It is because of the problem of the storage stage of the grain. The experience of the previous feed mills is: the corn in the Guanzhong is good, and the corn in the northeast is poor. It is because the northeast corn has a low nutrient content in addition to the short growing season, and there is an early freezing in the northeast. When the corn is harvested, it is not as dry as it is in the warehouse, resulting in serious mold and high mycotoxin content (especially F2 toxin). Now in the spring, the corn in the customs is worse, why?
Since the reform and opening up, farmers' food and farming methods have changed. In the past, many farmers had to eat some corn themselves and raise some livestock and poultry at home. Therefore, after harvesting the corn, it is very dry, and it is easy to dry in the autumn. Therefore, the moisture of the corn before storage is very low, and it will be old when it is thrown onto the concrete floor, and it will be crisp when the crusher is crushed. Nowadays, the degree of specialization of farmers is very high. The corn itself eats less. There is almost no family farming. It doesn't care about the quality. In order to reduce the water and reduce the scale, almost all of the harvest is stored in the warehouse. High, mildew is inevitable, and the individual confusion comes to the spring of the year. After opening the corn, the corn mold has become colored and tasted. It has to be sold to the dealer at a low price, and then the seller’s idea is mixed into a little corn and sold together. To the feed mill. After the autumn, the corn is not dried, and the feed mill has no drying equipment. Therefore, the water is high and the mycotoxins are serious. The corn is thrown to the concrete floor without elasticity, and the sound of smashing is low.
The anti-mold agent can only reduce the mildew after the feed processing, and can't do anything about the mycotoxin already produced in the grain. The fungicide has a limited effect and can only play a certain role. In the end, the adsorption rate is inconclusive and non-standard. So far, no fungicides have been included in the list of additives in the EU, the US and China. And the manufacturers of mold inhibitors and mold removers have the suspicion of exaggerating the efficacy of their products.
Therefore, whether it is a mold remover or a mold inhibitor, it is a supplementary method. To solve the mycotoxin fundamentally, or to prevent the production of mycotoxins in three stages, the key is the storage stage.
Do we want to change the way farmers produce? Right, change. It is impossible to rely on administrative orders, and it is impossible to rely on agricultural industrialization. What should I do? I think that the majority of breeding enterprises and feed mills can do it. How to do it, refuse to accept it, no, the spring and summer festivals are almost overly serious, not to accept, the animals have not eaten, the feed mill can not open. We have to change from the source. The best way is: award dry and wet, change this situation. We must recognize the dangers of mycotoxins and give them reasonable prices by quality. After harvesting corn in the autumn, 12 waters will be more than 1 cent more than 20 waters, and even higher, encourage farmers to dry; the price of water exceeds the standard. Therefore, it is necessary to reward the drying, punishing the water and fearing the scales, so that the farmers feel that they are cost-effective and will be actively dried. Don't make a small abacus, give the corn and other prices a price, then the real farmers will suffer, and the mycotoxin will exceed the standard to cause losses to the breeding industry. Even for this one cent, the loss will be several times! We can't I lifted my own stone and licked my own feet.
Other methods are suggested as follows:
1. Drying equipment on the feed mill: The corn harvested after the autumn is first dried and stored, and the cost will increase.
2, "washing and drying" equipment on the feed mill: corn harvested in spring and summer, the endotoxin is already very high, washing is the simplest and most effective method, but the cost is higher, and can not be clean.
3, should be alert to the protein materials such as soybean meal: Most feed mills are very wary of corn, and are assured of the standardized production of raw materials such as soybean meal. In fact, corn kernels are alive. As long as the water is low and stored dry, the shelf life will be long, but it will be stored. And soybean meal, etc., is a processed product, there is no life, the shelf life is very short, and it has changed color and mildew in three or four months. Therefore, be vigilant and be especially wary of arbitrage of soybeans due to price fluctuations.
4, should be alert to wheat bran, secondary powder and other raw materials: the current quality of bran powder is seriously reduced, it is not the original farmers mill, the flour mill often added too much additives, talcum powder and water, storage time is not Limit, no production date identification. It is easy to go wrong.
