Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry imposes anti-dumping duties on China's glass fiber

The anti-dumping bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India recently issued an anti-dumping final ruling on glass fibres and articles originating in China and proposed to impose a formal anti-dumping duty on my products.

In the final announcement, the anti-dumping bureau still regards China as a non-market economy country. Except for China Changzhou Xinchanghai Fiberglass Products Co., Ltd., other Chinese export enterprises did not receive market economic treatment. In the end, the dumping margins of Chinese export companies are determined as follows:

1. Shandong Taishan Pideosat Glass Fiber Products Co., Ltd., Taishan Fiberglass Co., Ltd., and Taishan Fiberglass Zoucheng Co., Ltd.: 25-35%

2. Jushi Group Chengdu Co., Ltd., Jushi Group Jiujiang Co., Ltd., and Jushi Group Co., Ltd.: 20-30%

3, Chongqing International Composite Material Company: 15-25%

4, other Chinese companies: 50-60%

In addition, the Anti-Dumping Agency comprehensively considered the import quantity, market share, import price, production capacity, sales volume and cost, profit margin, inventory, and other factors and determined that Chinese products caused substantial damage to domestic industries.

Based on this, the Anti-dumping Bureau proposed to impose formal ad valorem anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese exporting companies with the following tax rates: (Unit: CIF price percentage)

1. Shandong Taishan Bidi Osac Glass Fiber Products Co., Ltd., Taishan Glass Fiber Co., Ltd. and Taishan Glass Fiber Zoucheng Co., Ltd.: 20.89%

2. Jushi Group Chengdu Co., Ltd., Jushi Group Jiujiang Co., Ltd., and Jushi Group Co., Ltd.: 18.67%

3. Chongqing International Composite Material Company: 7.46%

4. Other Chinese enterprises: 40.91%

The final ruling stated that all stakeholders may appeal to the Customs and Revenue Appeals Tribunal for this final award.
