Increased Safety "e" ---- In the normal operating conditions will not produce sparks, arcs or equipment structures that may ignite an explosive mixture, take measures to increase safety to avoid under normal and recognized overload conditions (including motors Stall conditions) Electrical equipment that presents dangerous temperatures, arcs, and sparks.
The safety-enhanced electrical equipment enclosure is a protective enclosure and it adopts a comprehensive safety measure:
-- Limit the type of equipment;
-- Clearances and creepage distances are relatively large;
-- good insulation material;
-- The conductor connection is firm and reliable;
-- Reduce temperature rise;
-- Increase the degree of protection of the enclosure;
-- Use suitable protective devices, etc.
Since the explosion-proof measures of the increased safety products are comprehensive, there are also many considerations for repairing the increased safety products.
(1) Repair of the housing
The enclosure of the increased safety electrical product is a protective enclosure that can be repaired using the process of repairing the enclosure of a typical electrical product to restore its original enclosure protection class.
(2) Repair of junction box
If the terminal blocks in the terminal box are damaged, they should be replaced with the same spare parts as the original parts to ensure the clearances, creepage distances and wiring fastening methods between different potential parts.
(3) Repair of Cables and Catheters
The elastic sealing ring in the introduction device should be replaced with spare parts of the same size and the same quality.
(4) Repair of Parts in the Housing
Unlike flameproof enclosures, the enclosure of increased safety products is a protective shell with high waterproof and foreign object resistance. Therefore, the quality of repair of each electrical component within the enclosure is directly related to the explosion protection safety of the entire device.
a. Winding: If the winding is damaged, it is better to replace it with the same spare part as the original winding. If the winding is re-wound, the insulating wire insulation mat winding method impregnation paint and impregnation method must be the same as the original parts to ensure the winding temperature. Does not exceed the standard regulations.
b. Rotor of electric motor: If the cast aluminium squirrel cage rotor is damaged, it is recommended to go to the original manufacturer to purchase the same spare parts as the original rotor; if the rotor cage is a welded structure, it is recommended to go to the original manufacturer or a manufacturer with manufacturing experience to repair it.
c. Connection of conductive parts: It should be repaired in the same way as the original connection. If it is not possible, it should be repaired by the connection method specified in explosion-proof standard GB3836.3-2000 to ensure reliable connection and prevent loosening or breaking. Sparks or high temperatures occur.
d. Insulation parts: Replacement with the same material and size as the original part to ensure the specified clearance and creepage distance.
e. If other electrical components are damaged, they should be replaced with the same spare parts as the original part.
f. When reassembling during repair and after repair, the distance between the internal rotating parts and the stationary parts (such as the distance between the fan and other parts of the motor and the stator air gap) should not be less than the standard.
(5) If the outer fan or fan cover of the motor is damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired, the requirements are the same as for the flameproof motor.
