CAXA map document data backup and restore

Summary

This article introduces the knowledge of graph document backup and restore, which helps administrators maintain the graph document system.

Keywords: SQL database backup and restore

Foreword

After the company's drawings and materials are uploaded to the centralized management of the document system, the document system becomes an important platform for the company's work. The loss of system data may ruin the results of many days of work by engineers, so it is especially important to back up and restore data.

Document data management method

After the drawing is uploaded to the drawing document, the system will save it to the server through the network cable and encrypt it as a file of “file_streaming code.dat”. These files can only be viewed, edited, etc. through the landing map file system.

1. After the file is uploaded to the map file, it will be stored in the “vaultcheckedin” folder of the server;

2, the file in the map document is out of the library edit, the system will copy a copy from the server to a local hidden folder;

3. After the file is released, the system will move it to the “vaultRelease” folder.

4. After the file is archived, the system will move it to the “vaultObsolete” folder;

5. The template library "vault emplate" stores some company-wide template files;

Automatic system backup

As shown in Figure 1 below, the document server can set the storage path of the electronic warehouse, log files, etc., and can set automatic backup.

The automatic backup parameters are shown in Figure 2. Check the automatic backup, set the save path, set the time for automatic backup, the system will automatically back up the data.

Figure 1 Figure 2

There are a few points to note:

1. After the parameters are set, the CAXA Vault Server service needs to be stopped and restarted to take effect.

2, the time of automatic backup, the computer must be turned on, the document server side is normally started, can be backed up;

3, data backup can only back up the files in the library, the files edited out of the library can not be backed up;

4. After the data backup is completed, it will be backed up into a database file "backup.dat", and three folders "checkedin, Release, Obsolete" and its file library; log files and template files cannot be automatically backed up, and manual backup is required;

5, after multiple backups, multiple database files will be integrated in "backup.dat", so this file will be large after multiple backups; the file library will back up all the inbound, publish, and archive files. The backup library will get all the historical data of the map document;

System manual backup

The system can also be backed up manually.

1. Click “Data Backup” on the server side of the document, click “Specify Backup File”, and give a backup file name to backup.

2, data backup can only back up the files in the library, the files edited out of the library can not be backed up;

3. After the data backup is completed, it will be backed up into a database file, and three folders "checkedin, Release, Obsolete" and its file library files. The log files and template files cannot be automatically backed up, and manual copy backup is required.

4, for the data obtained by the backup, it is best to use the special data disk for remote backup;

system Restore

1. Manually stop the CAXA VAULT service;

2. Copy the backed up file library (checkedin, obsolete, release), template library (template), log file log, etc. to the corresponding folder of the server-side electronic warehouse, covering the original file;

3, start SQL SERVER, restore the database pdem. Select the database file to be automatically backed up (such as backup.dat) and select the restore time;

4. Check whether the server's electronic warehouse settings, log settings, etc. are correct after normal restoration;

5, restart the server-side computer, log in the map document to check whether the data is normal;

Precautions

Based on security considerations, the data in the graph file is encrypted and cannot be distinguished from its corresponding source file. Therefore, it is best to back up all historical data during backup. When restoring, select the restore time to get the corresponding data. The vault file creation time is the same as the import time, so you can also sort the time and select the appropriate time period for data backup.

If today I found out that I had deleted a batch of drawings by mistake yesterday, and just had an automatic backup the day before yesterday, the operation is as follows:

1. Make a backup of the database "pdem";

2. Restore the database "pdem" to the data of the previous day, and change the e-warehouse path to the warehouse path of the automatic backup;

3. Log in to the map document, find the drawings deleted on the same day, and export them in batches;

4. Restore the database "pdem" to the time when the backup was just made;

5. Import the drawings you just exported into the drawing document.
