Brief description of the use of wet magnetic separator


Wet magnetic separators are widely used in mineral processing, coal washing and chemical industries for wet sorting of strong magnetic minerals with a particle size of 6-0 mm, and minerals are classified into magnetic and non-magnetic products. The specific magnetic susceptibility X of other ferromagnetic materials selected by it should not be less than 3000 × 10 6 cm 3 / gram. These minerals are magnetite, pyrrhotite, etc., for hematite, limonite, strontium iron. Minerals and the like must be selected for magnetization roasting before they can be sorted. The main purpose of the machine: iron-selecting operations in water-free areas; iron removal operations of refractory materials and other materials.





The same cylinder can be equipped with three tanks, namely a semi-counterflow tank, a counterflow tank and a downstream tank, which are suitable for different sorting processes.





1. Semi-counterflow tank is suitable for wet rough selection and selection of ferromagnetic minerals with ore size of 0.5-0mm, especially suitable for the selection of large minerals with a particle size of 0.15~0mm.





2. Counterflow tank is suitable for wet selection and sweeping of strong magnetic minerals with ore size of 0.6~mm. Especially suitable for heavy medium recovery in coal washing plants.





3. The downstream tank is suitable for rough selection and selection of ore size of 6~0mm.





4. Both the semi-reverse flow tank and the downstream flow tank can be used in series to improve the concentrate grade.





The magnetic system is made of high-quality ferrite material or composited with rare earth magnet steel. The average magnetic induction intensity of the cylinder is 100~600mT.
