American cherry wood
Latin name: Prunus serotina, Ehrh. Rosaceae.
Trade name: black cherry (US and Canada), the United States also known as cabinet cherry wood.
Geographical distribution: small or sporadic distribution in the annual deciduous forests of the United States and Canada.
General characteristics: the heartwood is from deep red to light reddish brown, the texture is straight, the narrow lines have long brown plaques and tiny tree capsules, and the structure is fine. The average density is 580 kg/m3 and the specific gravity is 0.58.
Mechanical properties: wood has good bending properties, low hardness, medium strength and impact resistance.
Processability: The wood is easy to be processed by hand or machined, and the degree of wear on the tool is low, and the nail holding force, the adhesive force and the polishing property are good.
Uses: Can be used as parquet floor, pipe, musical instrument, furniture and cabinets, high-grade fine wood workpieces, marine interior decoration; especially suitable for making car parts or engravings. Selected logs can be used to make furniture veneer veneers, cabinet veneer veneers, siding and glossy doors.

Uses: Black annealed wire is mainly processed into coil wire, spool wire or big package wire. Or further straightened and cut into cut wire and U type wire. Annealed wire is used as tie wire or baling wire in building, parks and daily binding.
